Actress Amala Paul was last seen on screen in the controversial flick Aadai directed by Rathna Kumar who had also made Meyaadha Maan, and next the actress will be seen in the action movie Adho Andha Paravai Pola directed by debutant Vinoth KR.

The latest news making the rounds is that Amala Paul, who is supposed to make her Hindi debut with a movie opposite Arjun Rampal might be signed to act in a Hindi web series which will have her playing actress Parveen Babi and this series will be directed by Mahesh Bhatt.

Mahesh Bhatt had tweeted in December "A perfect beginning.Happy partnering with @jiostudios on our digital debut!A dramatic webseries based in 70s Bollywood exploring the relationship of a struggling filmmaker & a top actress of that era!The greatest location in the world is the human heart.@VisheshFilms @JioCinema", and now it has been said that Amala Paul will be playing Parveen in this series. The actress had also recently shared photos of Parveen in her Instagram stories.
