After three back to back hits, Nithiin is back with a romantic entertainer titled 'Chinnadana Nee Kosam'. This movie, directed by Karunakaran, is releasing tomorrow (25.12.14) as Christmas gift. We caught up with Nithin for an interview.

Excerpts from the interview

As a Pawan Kalyan fan

'Chinnadana Nee Kosam' is a very good romantic entertainer. Compared to my previous films, the emotional content in this film is strong. The family emotions will be very good. There are cute scenes with family members in Karunakaran's style. The climax will have a big surprise element. It will be very thrilling. For the first time in my career, I've played a character with my real name. I will be seen as Nithiin, who is a Pawan Kalyan fan, in the movie.

Great time

I always wanted to act in Karunakaran's direction. Actually, I had to make my debut in his direction. But it didn't happen and I worked with him now for my 21st film. I really had a great time working with him.

Will make it big

When we were looking for a fresh face for the heroine role, we watched the trailer of Bollywood film, 'Kaanchi' and approached Mishthi Chakraborthy for the role. She is a very good actress and I am sure she will make it big in the industry.

No problems

I have no problems working in other banners. I had worked in Puri Jagannadh's banner for 'Heart Attack' and 'Courier Boy Kalyan' is in Gautham Menon's banner. But after 12 flops, I thought it would be better to have my own team. I feel comfortable working in my banner. I know my market and so I will act in films with budget according to it. Not only in our banner, I tell even other producers about it. Because if a film fails many families would be affected. So I will act in only limited budget films.

Akhil has a good clarity

My father and Nagarjuna worked together for 'Yuvakudu' and from then on, both of them have been good friends. During 'Ishq' shooting, Vikram narrated us the line of 'Manam'. My father liked it and felt it would be apt for Akkineni family. After 'Manam', our bond strengthened. The film we are going to produce with Akhil will be very interesting. Akhil has a very good clarity. Even before the start of his film, he asked us to make only a limited budget film with him.

Will be different

My next film, 'Courier Boy Kalyan' will be very different compared to my all films. The shooting of the Telugu version has been completed. The Tamil version will also be completed soon and movie may be released in March.

He is preparing a script

Even I am bored of doing romantic entertainers continuously. I will act in a different film after this. During 'Gunde Jaari Gallanthayyinde', I asked writer Harsha Vardhan to prepare a story for me and I will act in his direction. He is still working on it.
