IT sleuths issue summons to superstar Vijay

Earlier this month, Tamil superstar Vijay came under the scanner of the Income-Tax department. As many as 38 locations concerning him and financier-producer Anbhu Chezhiyan were raided and surveyed by IT officials. Something like Rs 77 Cr was recovered from the sites. Not a single rupee was recovered from Vijay, though.
After days, the Income Tax Department today summoned the 'Bigil' and 'Sarkar' actor over charges of tax evasion and his links with the financier Anbu.
Many are wondering as to why summons have been issued to Vijay even though the IT department recently suggested that nothing incriminating has been found against him.
