Balakrishna's 101st film in Puri Jagannadh's direction was launched today. SS Rajamouli switched the camera on, while Nandamuri Ramakrishna gave the clap. The first shot was directed by Boyapati Sreenu.

Balakrishna said, "I am happy to be associating with producer V Anand Prasad, who has a spiritual bent of mind. When everybody was wondering as to which one will be my 101st movie, this crazy combination has happened. The movie will reach the expectations of the fans. The details of cast and crew will be revealed soon."

The producer said that he is happy to be getting to work with Balayya and Puri for his production no. 8. "The shooting will go on at a stretch starting from March 16. The film will be released on Sept 29," he further added.

Puri said that he had been aiming to work with Balakrishna since long. "The wish has finally come true. His look and body language will reach the expectations of his fans. We will be ready to release the movie earlier than the declared date," he said in his style.
