Those who have known legal counseling reality talk shows through parodies are more than those who know them watching the original version. There is a reason for it. From being suspiciously melodramatic to excessively intrusive, these shows have all kinds of criticisms and spoofs going for them.

What just happened is not funny. The personal secretary of Jeevitha Rajsekhar, the host of 'Baduku Jataka Bandi', has been slapped with a case by Chilkalguda police on the complaint of one Konda. Konda alleged in the complaint that the host's personal secretary had been calling him up and intimidating him to be present on the show. Konda's extra-legally separated wife Jyothi (separation happened in 2005 and the same was mediated by elders) had approached Jeevitha telling her version of her separation from Konda. Since Konda too has to be present on the show for counseling to be done, he was invited to the show, an invite he refused.

Konda recorded the words of Jeevitha's secretary and presented it to the police as evidence.

The show, telecast on a popular TV channel, was earlier hosted by Suma Latha.
