It's known that IT sleuths have conducted raids on some TDP leaders on Friday. Among those whose residences/offices have been raided are Sujana Chowdary, CM Ramesh and P Sudhakar.
Hours after the raids, Chandrababu Naidu staged a dharna at a junction in Vijayawada. He sternly warned Narendra Modi. "I am warning PM, if you do like this, you will have to pay a heavy price. We are fighting to save democracy and India. Who are you? You are an outgoing Prime Minister. I am requesting the officers, too. Don't listen to him. If you listen to him, you will also face serious consequences," the Andhra Pradesh CM said.
"Once elections are announced, everything has to be conducted under the Election Commission's guidance. All parties should have equal opportunity. They can't suppress even one party," he further said.
