On Wednesday, ANI broke the news that premises linked to Bollywood director-producer Anurag Kashyap and star actress Taapsee Pannu have been raided by the investigation team of the Income-Tax Department. While only these two names have been highlighted by news headlines, the raids are not limited to just Taapsee and Anurag.

The searches, admittedly, are related to Phantom Films, which Anurag had dissolved a couple of years ago. Shibhashish Sarkar, who is the CEO of Reliance Entertainment, has also been named by the IT Department in connection with today's searches.

Madhu Mantena of 'Ghajini' fame, who has a Tollywood link, is also under the radar as per media reports.

Besides, Vijay Subramaniam of Kwan Entertainment is also under the radar. Kwan is a talent management agency. Exceed Entertainment, the Mumbai-based celebrity management company, is also in the news.

These are only searches, which don't necessarily indicate any wrongdoing by any individual. As such, the final word of the IT Department on the raids will be keenly awaited.
