'Mirchi', starring Prabhas, Anushka and Richa Gangopadhyay has released recently. And now, Anushka has been acting in 'Baahubali' under Rajamouli's direction and 'Rudramadevi' in Gunasekhar’s direction.

On the eve of the success of 'Mirchi', a press meet has been arranged at Mirchi office in Hyderabad. In it, Anushka shared her experiences with Mirchi team, about Prabhas, her upcoming projects and her views on marriage and religion.

From whom did you get your first compliments for your role in ‘Mirchi’?

The first compliment was given by Prabhas, after he saw the rushes of the movie. He said that he had waited for my character to come while watching the movie and he praised me. The second compliment was given by the producer Bujji.

I also personally think that ‘Vennela’ character is the best character I have ever got. I have never done such a humorous character. I have enjoyed the dialogues and the movie very much.

How did you lift Prabhas in that one scene in ‘Mirchi’?

Actually, the director said that it would be nice if I lift Prabhas in that scene. Prabhas stood on a stool and after I had caught him, the stool was removed.

How was your working with a new director and the team?

Siva has been new to only direction and he had a lot of experience as a writer. He was very clear about every scene at the time of shooting. He never seemed to be a new director to me then.

About the producers, they have been very caring and hospitable to the whole team. This is my second film after ‘Billa’ in Prabhas’s home production. They have been very good people.

Prabhas in a recent interview said that he is ready to work with you in every film?

I am also ready to act with him in every film. It has been a pleasure to act with him.

What is the secret of such a good chemistry between both of you?

The main secret has been the script and then, the director. I strongly believe that those two are the secrets of good chemistry between any two actors and without them; the best of couple cannot show rapport onscreen.

Tell us something about Prabhas?

Prabhas is a very nice human being. Regarding hospitality, all the members of their family are very very good. I have worked with Prabhas before in ‘Billa’. He has grown up very much as an actor, from then. He takes so much care about his Physic, his body language, his variations or any other thing. He is really hard working and what I have seen at sets is that, he has been effortless.

Do you agree yours is a hit combination?

If the movie is a hit, automatically they will be said as a hit combination. If it is a flop, mistakes will be seen in every small thing.

Which scene do you like most in this movie and what about other actors?

I like the scene in which I ask Prabhas about his girlfriends and tell about my boyfriends and there are many more scenes which I love in this move. I like the marriage scene also so much.

About actors, I like Sathyaraj and Nadhiya's acting. And talking about Nadhiya, she is such a beautiful actress that I used to sit seeing on her. Her beauty has not faded even a little. She may act as a first heroine and we as next to her (laughs).

What about the Rajamouli’s film, 'Baahubali'?

Rajamuouli has every time got an eye on precision. He is very hard-working and always looks for something new. Right now, Prabhas, Rana and I are participating sword fight training sessions.

Have you read about Kakathiya's history for the film 'Rudramadevi'?

I have been just following what Gunasekhar says. Gunasekhar is an amazing director and his narration skills are really exceptional. I have tried to read the history in Internet and different sites have been carrying different information. It is difficult to follow anyone and so I decided to follow what Gunasekhar says.

What is your feeling at making ‘Rudramadevi’ movie? The stills look similar to Arundhathi.

Rudrama devi was a born warrior. She was very skilled at sword fighting and horse riding. So I have been getting trained in them.

It is very difficult to reconstruct the history and Gunasekhar has been working very hard. Thota Tharani sir has also been working very hard regarding sets. They both have vastly researched the history for this movie. I love Ilayaraja sir’s music and he is composing the music for the film and ‘Jodha Akbar’ fame Neetha Lallu is the costume designer. We have got the best of technicians for this film.

I will try to give my level best for this movie. I do not know the technique how 3d movies are being shot and I am looking forward for it.

The movie is very different from ‘Arundhathi’ and the stills shown are of Arundhathi only, not from Rudramadevi.

It is said that ‘Kahani’ remake project first came to you. Is it right?

Yes, I had been approached for that project. But right now I decided to concentrate on these both projects only. So I had left that project.

What about your marriage? Do you prefer love or arranged marriage?

I believe that marriages don’t come planned. I wish a happy married life whether it is love or arranged. But right now I have no plans about marriage. Gunasekhar has been working very hard for the film and I am not supposed to think about marriage now (Laughs). But if the right time comes, I will marry whomever my parents select and if I love anyone, I will tell them and marry him.

What is your opinion on religion?

I go to a temple, a mosque and a church. I believe in a force but particularly don’t believe in any one religion.
