The Rishab and Rakshit duo has set a new record in collections from Kirik Party`. As the fifty days is nearing for Kirik Party`, Rakshit Shetty one of the producers and lead actor in this film admits the film has collected Rs.40 crores gross so far. It is still doing well in 75 plus theatres. The December 30th release Kirik Party` collection is compared to the Mungaru Male` but the best according to sources in a short span of time is Mr and Mrs Ramachari` of Yash and Radhika Pandit.

Out of Rs.40 crores the net for the team would be roughly around 25 crores. The TV rights for the film is not yet sold is another big capture ahead for this film. We have earned money that is sufficient for four films.

Meanwhile the response to Kirik Party` from USA, Europe, Singapore, Dubai, Japan, Israel is stupendous. The film collected very well after Rangi Taranga` in USA.

In the forthcoming days Rakshit Shetty wants to give preference to small films with good outlook. He has a film for Sachin direction, taking up as director Thugs of Malgudi` with Kichcha Sudeep as lead actor. He is also appearing in a prominent role in his direction with Kichcha Sudeep.
