There is no asker and no teller in Kannada filmdom as for as releases are concerned. The release in excess per week is killing the own investment. With multiplex taking major share and single screens on weekly rent and percentage system, the net collection for producers is very thin. At one point of time the observation of some of the film pundits is that- have the producers come to lose money?

Even top star films are not that brilliant after four weeks. The case of small time producers is pathetic. There are cases of film called off because of lack of audience. The minimum collection of meeting the power and maintenance is not met; the show had to be cancelled.

The films that are hitting on 10th of March are – in the cans for a long time Veera Ranachandi', the film is releasing in pathetic condition of producer Kuppuswamy. He has mortgaged his house for release of this film. The expected TV rights not come up for Kuppuswamy. On the other side the key person to promote the film director Anand P Raju is sick on bed. It is completely rests on Ragini Dwivedi shoulders to get a good platform and publicity for the film.

Bengaluru Underworld' is having a big fight with Veera Ranachandi' as both are action filled films. Aditya is back in action with PN Sathya as director who is specialist in doing commercial films. Payal Radhakrishna is female lead in this film. The film has inspiration from newspaper reports.

Vardhana, a make or break for actor Harsha. He is in the industry from the time of Moggina Manasu', it is his full length film with Neha Patil as counterpart in SK Nagendra Urs direction.

Real Police' the come back to police roles by dialogue king Saikumar is based on real life incidents narrated by cops to producer Sadikulla Azaad that is brought on silver screen as the 98th direction by Om Saiprakash. Saikumar is on rampage in bringing in law and justice to right people. Prathima' a film by Technomark Television network Shivanandam is an experimental film with Dattanna, Ravi Chetan and Tejaswini hitting silver screen with no publicity in a few multiplex screens.

The films like Hebbuli', Kirik Party' and Chowka' are doing well in the theatres and rain of releases is unstoppable like Bengaluru rains hitting in the first week of March itself.
