The title 'Smt Jayalalitha' changed to 'Jai Lalitha' at last releasing with some friction for the title along with 'Paru Wife of Devadas'.

It is a remake verses original script this week and two popular actors Sharan and Srinagara Kitty contesting in the battle of box office. Both the films are produced by newcomers and two new heroines Disha Pandey and Aishwarya Devan from Jai Lalitha' are introduced to silver screen. Of course two heroines in both the films is a common factor.

JAI LALITHA – Facing hurdles for the title when it was Smt Jayalalitha' the team of this film had to change it as 'Jai Lalitha' that also coincide with Maay Mohini' a Malayalam film remade in Kannada. This Indira Productions produced by P Indira, Arun Kumar, Manjula Shanker is a comedy oriented cinema. Sharan is doing what popular Malayalam actor Dileep had done. Sharan is with female get up in 80 percent of the film. Toogudeepa Distribution is releasing the film all over Karnataka.

PARU WIFE OF DEVADAS – This is the third directorial venture of Kiran Govi who gave two hits Payana and Sanchari' in the past. Kiran Govi spread out his screenplay in Paaru Wife of Devadas' over a period of seven years. Two heroines come in seven years – Soundarya as Paru and Neha Patil as Sukanya in the life of Devadas. It is basically the ego clash in the life leads to various complications.

A film by Krishna Deve Gowda is laced with good lyrics and music by director Kiran Govi. After Payana and Sanchari he is back after six years to direction.
