Finally the team of ‘Smt Jayalalitha’ Kannada cinema a remake of Malayalam film succumbed to the pressures. It ‘Jai Lalitha’ from the advertisements published it is known on Friday.

There was a letter to the Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce on the change in title of ‘Smt Jayalalitha’. It was discussed and convinced that it has nothing to do with the personality of high reputation.

After the first formal media meet at Citadel Hotel and publicity reaching nook and corner the pressure was on producer to change the title. Producer Indira, Arun Kumar and Manjula Shanker in consultation with director P Kumar have made the final change for the film title.

Sharan in the title role ‘Jai Lalitha’ (removed Smt and title was altered) is releasing the audio on 26th May in Bangalore.
