It is different 'Soundarya'

What is beauty (Soundarya)? Is it external or internal or something else? It is something else says IAS officer turned director E.Channagangappa on the muhurut day of his film 'Soundarya' at GV Iyer studio in Ramohalli on the outskirts of Bangalore. Channagangappa who has left the bureaucrat job has worked on the story board pattern what is prevalent in Hollywood films for his third directorial venture. He has written the story, screenplay, dialogues besides heading the megaphone.
In the past he has directed two films 'Karimaleya Kaggattalu' (on literacy) and 'Nannaseya Hoove' (a commercial film that starred Monica Bedi as heroine who is fiancée of Abu Salem now in custody).
The 'Beauty' of our atmosphere and environment is what multifaceted director Changangappa is talking about. The beauty of our life is lost when compared to the yesteryears. Every area of life has lost its beauty whether it is socio, economic and political life. With such a subject and the invasion of IT and BT effect on Bangalore the director is focusing it on a simple middle class family. There is land mafia activity (The director Changangappa was heading the Bangalore Development Authority earlier) but I am not taking anything out of my books. I am giving the constituents in this film right from reality he says speaking to media persons after the muhurut of the film.
Ramesh Aravind, Sakshi Shivanand, Baby Shreya and Rahul Dev play the lead roles. Hamsalekha scores the music and also provides the lyrics. R.Giri is the cameraman.
Ramesh Aravind is seeing the shades of his 'Amrutha Varshini' in the working style and content wise of the film 'Soundarya'. He has appreciated the story board pattern of the director Channagangappa.
Sakshi Shivanand has expressed her real life experience of receiving telephone call from mafia don in one of her property cases. That is similar to me on screen she explained.
Shirdi Sai Combines maiden venture is produced by Ganapathi Prabhu, Ramachandra, Govindaraju and Raghavendra.
