A day before Independence Day there is clash of two titans in Kannada filmdom. Super star Upendra Uppi 2` announced the date of release as August 14 and on the same day golden star Ganesh Buguri` is hitting the silver screen.

It is a fight in the box office between two popular stars. Upendra is much senior in all respects compared to Ganesh. It is in the direction of Upendra Uppi 2` is all set for release in a grand style. The rage has begun from the day of launch of the film one year ago. It was Naanu` in Upendra titled Kannada film and in Uppi 2` it is Neenu`. Upendra wife Priyanka is official producer of the film. Kristina Akheeva, Parul Yadav and others are in the cast. Gurukiran music has already created a rage. Ashok Cashyap is cameraman of the film.

Buguri` 25th film of Golden star Ganesh is in the direction of MD Sridhar of many successful films in Kannada. SMG Movies Smt Manjula Gopalakrishna and Smt Vijayalakshmi Sridhar are producers. BA Madhu has written dialogues. Mickey J Meyer music, Sounder Raj editing, Chinni Prakash, Murali and Kalai dance direction, Mohan B Kere art direction, Kaurava Venkatesh, Ravi Verma stunts are technical support to Buguri`.

Like how Upendra has two heroines in Uppi 2`, Golden star Ganesh has Erica Fernandez and Richa Panai as counterparts. Ashok, Sadhu Kokila, Sudha Belawadi, Saritha Jain and others are in the cast.
