The Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce that allowed four films in the last week February 11 when the announcement came for release of five films for this week February 18 suddenly it held a meeting and convinced two film producers to come on 25th of February.

As a result ‘Aptha’ and ‘Take It Easy’ are coming next week. ‘Veera Bahu, Naavu Nam Hendthiru and 5 Idiots’ are coming in minimum of theatres as there are other films like – Super, Jackie, Mylari, Kote, Kalmanja have occupied lot of theatres.

The highly expected film of this week of ‘Veera Bahu’ starring action king Vijay and Nidhi Subbaiah. S Mahender first combination with action hero is also sentimental film from Sandesh Nagaraj producer of the film. V Harikrishna has scored the music, Ananth Urs is the cameraman.

‘5 Idiots’ is the debut direction of actor Anand with the usual subject of kidnapping a rich girl and five youths doing idiotic tricks to release themselves. Anand, Naveen Krishna, Petrol Prasanna, Vasu, Namratha Hegde are ‘5 Idiots’. Harshika Poonacha is the main heroine of this film. Lokesh Murthy, Shiva Reddy and Mohan are the three producers of this film.

‘Naavu Nam Hendthiru’ is based on the play by director Seetharam Karanth revolved around two couples and a servant couple. Harishraj, Ashwini, Akshata Shetty, Nethra Shetty, Prakash, Munna, Mandya Ramesh are in the cast. R Manjunath is the cameraman and AJ Prasanna has scored the music.
