It hurts me that Brahmins are stereotyped: Pawan Kalyan

Pawan Kalyan was in Rajamahendravaram on Sunday to address members of several Brahmin communities in an auditorium. He spoke against stereotyping of Brahmins in movies, etc. Besides, the Jana Sena chief promised that Rs 2,500 crore will be allocated for the community's welfare if his party is voted to power in 2019.
Saying that Brahmins are insulted when pop culture mocks their language and slang, Pawan sounded sensational when he opined that India would not have achieved its Independence but for Brahmin leadership.
Pawan pooh-poohed the BJP for "failing to protect the Hindu self-respect".
He also noted down the concerns of farmers at another meet during his ongoing bus yatra.
