Actor R Madhavan will soon be seen in starring role in his directorial debut 'Rocketry: The Nambi Effect'. The film will essay the life of aerospace engineer Nambi Narayanan, who went through a long legal battle after falsely being accused of espionage. In a recent promotional event, Madhavan shared that from beginning to release, it took him 6 years to make the film. He stated, “I started the film at the end of 2016 and it will be released in 2022. It has taken six years. Not just my role but I am satisfied with the way the film has turned out compared to the script we had written. So, it is as close to the script as possible. That is our victory."
He further added, "I am proud that I have made a film that I wanted to make even though it may have taken six years to make it. I take great pride in presenting the story of Nambi Narayanan."
