"It gave me the identity that I always looked for." - Ishwak Singh on 'Paatal Lok'

Actor Ishwak Singh has been active in the industry since last 10 years but he finally found some fame with his portrayal of a cop and UPSC aspirant Imran Ansari in 2020 show 'Paatal Lok'. Earlier this year, Ishawak appeared as Dr Vikram Sarabhai in the show 'Rocket Boys' and garnered lots of praises for his performance.
In a recent media interaction, the actor credited 'Paatal Lok' for giving his career a much needed push. He told IANS, It’s almost a decade since my journey in the film industry began but it was ‘Paatal Lok’ that catapulted my career in the industry.
Ishawak further added, It gave me the identity that I always looked for as an actor given the role I was given and the appreciation that came my way. I am surely grateful for all the other opportunities that I have gotten previously because without those roles I would not be where I am today. But sometimes it’s that one role, one character that opens those closed doors for you.
