After taking up the issue of 'Uddanam Nephropathy' and promising to be handloom weaving's brand ambassador starting next month, Pawan Kalyan has urged the Government of Andhra Pradesh to look into the issue of the turning of Polavaram project area into a dumping yard over the last few years. About 200 acres have been affected because of this.

Moments ago, representatives of the affected families met Pawan to personally present him a note on how the project area has been turned into a dumping ground without recourse.

Pawan cautioned the government to redress their grievances at the earliest. "I don't want to raise the issue vehemently at this stage. But this needs to be addressed by the TDP government at the earliest. Let me caution that, if issues like these are not taken up duly, there is a danger of caste conflicts taking place," the Jana Sena chief said.
