'iSmart Shankar': One week on, its numbers are amazing

'iSmart Shankar' has done it big-time. As expected, the mass sci-fi flick not only crossed the Rs 25 Cr mark but did it in just one week!
The Puri Jagannadh-Ram Pothineni entertainer collected a share of Rs 27 Cr (worldwide) as of the end of Wednesday. Not only is this the biggest hit in Ram's career, it's also going to go down as one of the best performers in Nizam (having already crossed Rs 11 Cr) this year.
The only film that is set to halt its superb march is Vijay Deverakonda's 'Dear Comrade', which releases this Friday. Although its collections have already slowed down, without 'DC', it wouldn't have faced any competition till August 2.
The only demerit of 'iSmart Shankar' is that it has flunked in the US.
