Actress Additi Gupta, who is best known for her roles in the famous television shows Ishqbaaaz and Kis Desh Mein Hai Meraa Dil, recently revealed that she has tested positive for the novel coronavirus and that her husband Kabir Singh and her family members have been offering her major support during the quarantined phase.
The actress mentioned in an interview with an entertainment portal that she decided to get tested for the virus after she lost her sense of smell. She has apparently quarantined herself at home for a week now after testing positive for COVID-19. "Well, the moment I lost my smelling sense I quarantined myself and got tested. The reports came out positive and I chose to quarantine myself at home since I was an asymptomatic. It's been 7 to 8 days that I have confined myself in a room. I have great support of my husband, family and friends. They are constantly keeping check on me. Now, I have partially got my smelling sense back. I will quarantine myself for the next 10 more days. I am eating well and taking proper medication.
Talking about her experience of being diagnosed with coronavirus and advising people not to panic in case they test positive for the virus, Additi further added, "I would like to say don't panic but honestly it is not really a great thing to have. I was a bit stressed initially but with the proper medication and positive approach you will be fine... For me my good days are back and can't wait to get back to normalcy."
