Popular Bollywood actress Isha Sharvani has done a cameo in Suriya's 'Maatraan' in the song "Theeye Theeye" and playing the lead role opposite Chiyaan Vikram in 'David'. She now lives in Perth, Australia where she lost a sum of three lakh rupees after being cheated by three men.

Isha lodged a complaint with the Delhi police and the Cyber crime PRO has stated "In a major breakthrough, the Cyber Crime Unit (CyPAD) has arrested three men who had duped a renowned NRI female actor/performer, Ms. Isha Sharvani, who now lives in Perth, Australia, pretending to be from Australian Tax Office. She was induced to transfer 5,700 AUD (around Rs 3 lakh) via Western Union and RIA Money Transfer."

It is said that the three men blackmailed Isha Sharvani that if she did not transfer the money she would be arrested by Australian authorities. It is later found that the culprits hailing from Delhi have duped many Indians settled in Australia.
