Isaigniani Ilayaraja who is celebrated as the maestro of film music has been conferred the Padma Vibushan Award by the central government. This is the second highest civilian award of India and the entire film fraternity is delghted that a worthy artiste par excellence who has served the entertainment industry for the better part of forty odd years.
Ilayaraja in his long and decorated career has won many accolades including the five National Award and also the Padma Bhushan Award for the year 2010. We take this opportunity to congratulate the Raga Devan for receiving yet another worthy award.
