Isaigniani Ilayaraja has been exclusively hiring a studio floor in the prestigious Prasad Studios for the past forty years and most of his chart-busting music has been recorded there. What is more, is that the musicians who play for Raja have been known to leave their instruments there when they finish work. Now in an ugly turn of events his manager Gafar has lodged a complaint with the Virgugambakkam police station that the management and the staff of the premises are obstructing his work.

In the complaint, it has been stated that in recent times the staff of Prasad Studios have stacked up furniture and computers at the entrance of the studio that Ilayaraja uses and their malicious intent is to obstruct his music work. It has been further alleged that there is a bid to forcefully occupy the studio and also cause damage to the musical instruments housed there. The police after verifying that the complaint has indeed come from Ilayaraja have started an inquiry.
