Is Vijay Deverakonda in agony?

With 'Dear Comrade' flopping, Vijay Deverakonda's career graph is not looking up as high as it used to just till a few weeks ago. It's because this failure came after the discouraging performance of the ambitious 'NOTA' last year. There is this buzz that Mythri Movie Makers is rethinking on 'Hero', a multi-lingual. Since 'DC' hasn't managed to get eyeballs in Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam, the production house feels that Deverakonda is not a multi-lingual star by any stretch of imagination.
The buzz is that Deverakonda is really depressed at the turn of events. After 'Arjun Reddy' and 'Geetha Govindam', he was seen as a superstar and many prematurely started comparing him to top stars. Some even gushed that he is the next Pawan Kalyan.
For now, the young actor is pinning all hopes on Kranthi Madhav's project. The director has a mixed track record, though. As things stand, he seems to be confused. Should he start doing actioners for the mass audience or continue to do love stories? The former is not an easy choice to make. Moreover, not many are doing mass flicks in Tollywood. As for the latter, again, variety is limited.
