Is Venky launching a production house?

If the report of a popular English daily is anything to go by, actor Victory Venkatesh is all set to launch his production house sometime soon. This may be surprising to hear because the actor's father-brother duo already own the Suresh Productions. However, there is a reason why Venky wants to launch a house of his own. Apparently, Venky has plans to do some experimentation and do some really different cinema. He is a superstar yes, but someone who is in his mid-40s. It seems it is the gut feeling of Venky that he should don imaginative roles to be in the race and not limit himself to playing run-of-the-mill ones.

Unfortunately for him, his brother Suresh Babu is not game to the idea. He believes that it would a safe bet to be conservative given the high costs involved in producing films these days. As a result, Venky is wanting to launch a production house on his own and do experimental films according to his creative instincts.

This does not mean that there are differences between the two brothers. Like many Bollywoodians, Venky wants to push the envelope while Suresh doesn't seem to share the same convictions as his brother.
