We already updated you that Dhanush resumed shooting for his magnum opus film 'Captain Miller'. The filming is heading steadily in Tenkasi and is expected to be entirely wrapped up by May month. The mega-budget action-adventure film is directed by Arun Matheshwaran and produced by Sathya Jyothi Films.

A few days ago, reports broke out that renowned actor-director Vijay Kumar of Uriyadi fame has joined the film and he will be seen in a pivotal role. Now, a source close to the production team has clarified that Uriyadi Vijay Kumar is not part of Captain Miller. "Uriyadi Vijay Kumar's addition in 'Captain Miller' is just like one among social media rumors that spread by some netizens", says the source.

Vijay Kumar is currently playing the lead role in a film directed by Thamizh. He has completed the shooting of the film in a single stretch and the post-production work for the yet-to-be-titled film is happening firmly. This will be the third film of him as an actor following the Uriyadi series.

Captain Miller, a GV Prakash musical, already boasts of a stellar starcast that includes Dhanush, Priyanka Arul Mohan, Shivarajkumar, Sundeep Kishan, Edward Sonnenblick, John Kokken and Nivedhithaa Sathish among others. It is said to be a period film set in the 1940s. The movie will hit the screens worldwide laters this year.
