Thalapathy Vijay is currently working on 'Leo', which is one of the most anticipated films in his career. Lokesh Kanagaraj is directing the action biggie. Meanwhile, the actor's next project, tentatively called 'Thalapathy 68', is already making headlines and creating a huge buzz on social media.

Earlier, we broke to you that Vijay is in talks with the Tollywood hitmaker Gopichand Malineni for his 68th feature bankrolled by Super Good Films and Mythri Movie Makers. Producer RB Choudhary's sons Jiiva and Jithan Ramesh confirmed that Thalapathy is most likely to act in the milestone 100th film of the renowned media company. Last year, reports broke out that Atlee will be directing Thalapathy 68 under Sun Pictures. According to sources, Thalapathy Vijay's association with Super Good Films for their 100th movie is confirmed and Atlee is not going to direct this project. This film marks the seventh collaboration between Vijay and Super Good Films. The latest information from our sources is that Gopichand or popular Tamil director Karthik Subbaraj will be directing Thalapathy 68.

However, there is no official word about this project and we have to wait for it. It is worth mentioning that Thalapathy Vijay and Super Good Films have delivered timeless hits in Tamil cinema such as 'Thullatha Manamum Thullum', 'Love Today', 'Poove Unakkaga', 'Thirupachi', 'Shahjahan' and 'Jilla'. In 2017, Vijay starred in Thenandal Films' 100th film 'Mersal' directed by Atlee. We have to wait for more details on 'Thalapathy 68'.
