The first poster of Suriya's 'NGK' (Tamil), directed by Selva Raghavan of '7/G Brindavan Colony' and 'Aaduvari Matalaku Arthale Verule' fame, is out. The film stars Sai Pallavi and Rakul Preet Singh as female leads.

As per some speculations, Suriya will be seen as either a people's leader or a gangster with a noble cause in this entertainer. 'NGK' suggests the name of Suriya's character in the movie.

Suriya recently said, "This is going to be a completely different film compared to all my 35 films. Selva Raghavan has narrated an excellent subject. It's a commercial entertainer." Produced by SR Prakash Babu and SR Prabhu, the Tamil film's shoot will be completed by the end of May. Music is by Yuvan Shankar Raja. The cinematography is by Shivakumar Vijayan. Editing is by GK Prasanna. Art direction is by RK Vijay Murugan.

The Tamil version is slated for a grand Diwali release. It has to be seen if its dubbed Telugu version will also be out this year.
