Ever since Samantha Akkineni released a video clip in which she is heard appealing the voters to choose the Repalle TDP candidate Anagani Satya Prasad, she has been trolled by sections of Netizens. Many are seeing it as the star actress' endorsement of Chandrababu Naidu's party.

But is it true at all? Samantha is not supporting the party per se. She is endorsing just one candidate and that's because he is a "good person" in her opinion. "He is a family friend. My support is personally towards him. I know him and his sister Dr. Manjula since the time I moved to Hyderabad. Hence I support because he is a good person," the 'Majili' actress says.

Despite Sam's clarification, Netizens are trolling her by saying that she habitually goes against Nagarjuna, her father-in-law. It's known that Nag recently called on YS Jaganmohan Reddy.
