Is Saaho's heroine not a meaty role?

Some reports emanating from sections of the Mumbai-based media have it that it was Alia Bhatt who was approached by Sujeeth Sign and UV Creations for the heroine's role in 'Saaho'.
As per the reports, the Bollywood actress rejected it as she found that the role doesn't have much of an importance in the story. Consequently, the role was offered to Shraddha Kapoor.
The assertion flies in the face of some reports that the female lead has a meaty part in the actioner. If Alia didn't even see it worth her while to accept the role, Shraddha is seemingly passionate about her character and the film, and has even decided to dub for herself.
