All of a sudden, Renu Desai has entered public life in an unexpected way. The former actress and ex-wife of Pawan Kalyan is currently in Kurnool district. This visit coincides with the Jana Sena chief's Rayalaseema tour.

Renu prayed at Mantralayam on Sunday night. On Monday, she is reportedly scheduled to meet the families of two farmers who committed suicide in the past. This is apparently in connection with a talk show she will host for Sakshi TV, a mouthpiece of YSRCP. Swapna, the famous TV host, seems to be behind Renu's new avatar. The show will be named as 'Matti Manushulu'.

The timing of Renu's entry is raising eyebrows. There are wild speculations that YSRCP may be thinking of fielding her as an MLA in the upcoming elections. If that happens, it will truly be a masterstroke by Jaganmohan Reddy.

The question now is, will Renu be ready to do anything that creates a perception that she is working against her husband? Renu has always sounded apolitical. Also, she strongly believes that Pawan is a well-meaning person whose heart beats for the welfare of people. She said this much explicitly last year.
