A fortnight ago it was announced that the makers of 'Pyaar Ka Punchnama' would be making a film called 'Bittoo Boss' next. Though the poster of the film was released, it didn't reveal the leading man in the film. While there were speculations of all kinds, our source called to say that the man here could well be none other than Ranveer Singh.

"Yes, there are strong indications that Ranveer has given his nod of approval to the film. Though everyone is tight lipped about the film and the cast so far, Ranveer is in fact the perfect choice," says a source on condition of anonymity.

Ranveer's name started catching up heat when rumors started originating that either one out of Kartik, Rayo or Divyendu, leading men from 'Pyaar Ka Punchnama', was given a green signal by producers Kumar Mangat and Abhishek Pathak.

"No, none of the three would be seen in the film," says a senior member of the production house, "They are already preparing for PKP sequel. Pathaks wanted someone different though they were open to someone reasonably experienced or an out and out newcomer."

However those in know how of Ranveer feel that news about him signing the film could be akin to jumping the gun till an official announcement is made. "Just because he was called Bittoo in 'Band Baaja Baaraat' doesn't mean that he would be playing the title role in 'Bittoo Boss'," he quips.

Pathaks were unavailable for comment, hence only adding to the suspense.
