In one of her latest interviews, Rakul Preet Singh has elaborated on her role in the much-awaited 'Spyder'. While we know that she is playing a doctor in the mega-budgeted entertainer, the Brahmaramba of 'Rarandoi Veduka Chuddam' has said that the doctor is a nerd and even "clumsy".

While Rakul describes the role as meaty, one wonders if it borders on the stereotypical.

She is seen wearing specs, an accessory unfortunately associated with so-called 'boring' and 'unfashionable' girls in our movies. One hopes AR Murugadoss has conceived the role differently. After all, women in his movies are known for their meaty presence.
