Actors Prithviraj Sukumaran and Mohanlal consider each other as family. The duo shares a strong bond ever since they worked together Prithviraj Sukumaran’s debut directorial venture ‘Lucifer’, which turned out to be a blockbuster hit. Mohanlal played the lead and the film made headlines for all the right reasons.

It was recently, Mohanlal confirmed that the pre-production works of his debut directorial ‘Barroz: Guardian of D'Gama's Treasure’ has begun. The actor had also shared a few pictures of the team busily engaged in discussions regarding the project. In the pictures, actor Prithviraj was also spotted engaged in some serious talks. While speculations were rife that the actor is also part of the Mohanlal directorial, Prithviraj Sukumaran recently shared a photograph, hinting that the actor is also part of the team.

Sharing a picture of the movie's script file, Prithviraj wrote, “Shooting script supervisor's copy." The file has a handwritten note that reads, “Confidential Raju's copy.” Though he has not clearly mentioned if he was part of the team, it sure looks like he is part of the creative team.

In a career spanning over four decades, Mohanlal is donning the cap of a filmmaker for the first time with the upcoming 3D fantasy film ‘Barroz – Guardian of D'Gama's Treasure’. The film is adapted from Jijo Punnoose’s story in the same name. Made on a huge budget, the movie is expected to be going on floors very soon.
