The audio of Prasthanam, released recently by Jayaprakash Narayan, the Lok Sattha president and Kukatpally legislator, has raised a rumour that the film is about politics, mission of a young rebel in the realm and a utopia. As is known, JP is most respected for his clean image and his vision of developmental politics. His releasing of the audio has certainly been the talk of the town.

Speaking on the occasion, the leader was reported as saying that he liked the story of the film. JP also hoped that the film turns out to be a commercial hit, as films driven by a message have to be successful.

Its director Dev Katta himself said that that the film will have the element of politics. Further to this, Sarvanand said that Prasthanam will be a milestone in his career so far. Produced by Vallabhaneni Ravi, its music is by Mahesh Shankar.

The film is slated for a release later in the month. It also stars Sai Kumar in an important role.
