There are rumours that Nandamuri Kalyanram is contesting for the post of MAA President in the upcoming elections. Turns out that the news is false. The actor's team has clarified that the '118' star is not in the race.

So far, Prakash Raj, Vishnu Manchu and Hema (the senior character artist) alone have confirmed that they are in the race. Jeevitha Rajasekhar is also in the race, reportedly. The election fever is fast heating up, with Prakash Raj forming a panel for constructive working. Vishnu Manchu has sought the blessings of Superstar Krishna and Krishnam Raju, among others.

As for Kalyanram, he is currently doing a multi-genre flick titled ‘Bimbisara’. ‘A Time Travel From Evil To Good' is its caption. Catherine Tresa and Samyuktha Menon are cast in important roles. Helmed by newcomer Mallidi Vashist, the film will see Kalyanram in a new sort of royal look. To be rich in VFX, the film went on the floors in 2020. Produced by Hari Krishna K on NTR Arts, its cinematography is by Chota K Naidu. Chirantan Bhatt has composed the music.
