AR Rahman's exit from 'Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy' (admittedly because his hands are full) has left a void.  It has been very difficult to fill it.  Given the huge scale of the project, a music director who can give an output that can satisfy a pan-Indian audience was needed.  

Looks like Surender Reddy and Ram Charan felt Bollywood's Amit Trivedi fits the bill.  So, they recently approached him with the offer.  In all likelihood, he is already on board.  The makers are yet to make it official.

The 38-year-old Amit is multi-talented.  He is currently working on Kajal Aggarwal's 'Paris Paris', the Tamil remake of 'Queen'.  'Udta Punjab', 'Secret Superstar', and 'Raid' are some of his recent Hindi films.

'Sye Raa' will be his one more South Indian film.  It's probably his biggest multi-lingual project ever.
