Union Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad of the BJP has on Tuesday slammed the Congress for the statements of some its leaders over the Pulwama carnage and the recent Balakot airstrikes.

"Our party would like to know whether all the tweeting by Congress leaders on the Pulwama attack is a part of a conspiracy. We are asking this because whatever is being said here is being shown in Pakistan," Prasad said. The other day, Imran Khan's political party's official Twitter handle has quoted a Congress spokesperson's rant against Modi.

Prasad criticized senior Congress leader Digvijaya Singh for "stooping to a low level". "He has reduced himself to such a low level that he will call the most heinous terrorist attack on 45 CRPF jawans as an accident? This is their thinking. There is a growing competition between senior leaders of the Congress party as to who is more vocal in lowering the morale of the security forces," the saffron leader said.
