On Friday, Chiranjeevi shared a video clip from a recent James Cameron interview. The clip is about why the Hollywood director was amazed by Ram Charan's character. In his tweet, the 'Waltair Veerayya' actor thanked the 'Avatar' maker for acknowledging his son's character. He didn't mention SS Rajamouli, whose craftsmanship Cameron talks about in the clip.

This has given rise to the suspicion that Chiru may have been disappointed with Rajamouli for some reason. For the past few months, Jr NTR's performance has been described in glowing terms by the media and critics internationally during RRR's Oscars campaign.

A section of the Mega fans believes that Rajamouli's team didn't do enough to make a case for Charan's subtle portrayal of Alluri in 'RRR'. It was a complex character. In a way, Cameron's praise shows his understated appreciation for the 'Rangasthalam' actor.

Is Chiru really miffed with Rajamouli for allegedly not doing enough to promote his son's performance? Is that why he talked exclusively about his son in his Friday tweet?

One wouldn't know the answer for sure. When 'RRR' was released, the social media narrative by a section of Nandamuri fans was that Tarak's Bheem was reduced to a side character in the second half at the behest of Chiru!

Rajamouli has been accused of bias by both sides. The truth may well be that the director hasn't discouraged or promoted either of the star heroes.
