24 year old Sharmila has hit news headlines regularly during the past week or so. The first woman bus driver of Coimbatore lost her job controversially after DMK MP Kanimozhi boarded the private bus that she was driving and bonded with her. Her employer alleged that she was publicity hungry.

Meanwhile on Monday, Makkal Needhi Maiam leader Kamal Haasan invited Sharmila to his office in Chennai and gifted her a cheque for rupees three lakhs, asking her to start a taxi business and inspire more women to follow suit. The party functionaries also assured that all help will be done to her to book the new car.

Now speculation have risen that Sharmila is likely to participate as a contestant in the upcoming 'Bigg Boss Tamil 7' hosted by Kamal Haasan. There are reports that production executives already initiated talks and the young girl could get into the house as a commoner like Julie, Dhanalakshmi and G.P. Muthu from the previous editions. We have to wait for some more time to know if this is mere speculation or there is truth to it.
