Is Balakrishna preferring Krishna Vamsi?

  • IndiaGlitz, [Tuesday,February 23 2016]

After seriously considering Singeetham Srinivasa Rao and reportedly toying with the idea of giving Boyapati Sreenu or Pataas fame Anil Ravipudi the chance to wield the megaphone, Balakrishna seems to have had a change of heart. No, it's not in favour of Krish as some reports suggested.

The latest tinsel town talk is that the Nandamuri Nata Simha has plans to rope in Krishna Vamsi as the director of his 100th film. Krishna Vamsi, for all we know, has been tied up with Rudraksha, the mega-budgeted visual effects-significant thriller to be produced as a mega multi-starrer by Dil Raju. The film is still in pre-production stage and as Dil Raju himself stated in a recent interview to IndiaGlitz, a bound script is not ready as yet. Krishna Vamsi is not yet decided on whether and how many male leads to be cast.

Given this, could it be the case that the maverick director has plans to keep aside Rudraksha for now and take up Balayya's film? Highly unlikely as Krishna Vamsi has never been someone who parachutes into a film for the sake of it, especially if the genre doesn't interest him. And he hasn't ever done a genre that suits the image of a Balayya.
