Amidst holding important responsibilities as the President of the Tamil Film Producers Council and the General Secretary of the Nadigar Sangam, Vishal continues to retain his verve on the professional front. 'Irumbu Thirai' is a much anticipated film by fans which also has Action king Arjun and Samantha in the lead roles.
Recently, the director of the film P.S.Mithran has revealed that actually Vishal wanted to essay the villain's role for 'Irumbu Thirai'. Vishal initially planned to bankroll the film with another actor as the hero, but after listening to the script he was floored by the villain's characterisation and wanted to play the villain. It is notable that Action King Arjun would be playing that role inthe film.
However, Vishal okayed the hero's role after the director persisted him to do so. Mithran also states that he had made changes in the script to suit Vishal by bringing in the 'military' factor. The director also revealed that the film will deal with the hidden dangers of social media and other new things unheard of.
'Irumbu Thirai' is set to hit the screens on January 26 Republic day release.
