While the arrangements for the North American Telugu Society (NATS) celebrations in Los Angeles in July are being done currently, Internal Revenue Service (IRS) of America has been investigating on the misuse of funds.

IRS is investigating on why the funds of a non profit organization like NATS are being transferred to personal accounts and some voluntary organizations. They are also enquiring on the processes by which the funds are collected. With this decision by IRS, those who gave funds and also those who are about to give funds are getting confused. Knowing that IRS, which works under department of treasury, is collecting information directly from their bank accounts, they are taking care of their accounts.

Those who are going to attend NATS celebrations are taking care that transactions will not be done directly from NATS accounts. It is said that Balakrishna also asked his friends to see that the funds collected for Indo Amercian Cancer Hospital through three programs in America and NATS organization have no relation.
