Fans of late actor Irrfan Khan are in for a treat. Back in 2005, the actor starred in Aditya Bhattacharya's film 'Dubai Return'. For one reason or other, the film remained unreleased till now. It was screened at International Film Festival of India in 2005 but that was it. Now according to a TOI report, the film will set to get screened at Bandra Film Festival.
The film is a comedy which features Irrfan Khan in the role of a small time gangster named Aftaab Angrez. After the festival screening, it is possible that film might get picked by one of the OTT giants for online streaming. However, Irrfan's fans would be delighted to witness an unseen piece of work of their beloved actor.
Irrfan Khan passed away last year after a long excruciating battle with a fatal illness. His last film was 'Angrezi Medium' where he starred as a caring a concerned father of a teenage girl played by Radhika Madaan.
Bandra Film Festival will also screen one of Aamir Khan's initial films, 'Raakh'.
