Buzz is that the highly-acclaimed actor, Irrfan Khan, will essay the role of a porn filmmaker in Tigmanshu Dhulia’s forthcoming project. Titled as 'The Killing Of A Porn Filmmaker', the film has Irrfan playing a director who shoots very low level sleazy porn stuff. With his secret cameras, he targets innocent people in toilets, shoots honeymoon couple.

It is said that post ‘The Lunchbox’, Irrfan was searching for some bigger challenged role. When he thought everything is over, this Tigmanshu’s film came up. And playing a porn director seemed to be a fresh opportunity to the actor. Said the director in an interview, "Irrfan's character redeems himself. He rises from the depths of sleaze and emerges a hero." However, he doesn’t want to divulge much details about the film.

Incidentally, after ‘Paan Singh Tomar’, Irrfan and Tigmanshu joins hands again with this project.
