Irrfan Khan to host 'Amy' premiere in India

Friendships go a pretty long way but for Irrfan Khan its a never ending road for bonds. Irrfan who is just back from Budapest where he was shooting for his next Hollywood film Inferno, is all set to host an Indian premiere of director and friend Asif Kapadia's British documentary film 'Amy'.

Asif was unable to be present in India due to his other international premiere's. Irrfan thus decided to take up on the same for his friend. Irrfan shares a great bond with the Amy director. Infact Asif's movie The Warrior was Irrfan's first international movie, which also won great appreciation amongst audiences.

The Premiere will be hosted in Mumbai on 9th of July for which Irrfan has invited his close friends from the Bollywood fraternity and family.

Asif's friends and family will also be present at the premiere.

Irrfan commented on the same : "I am glad to host this screening for my dear friend Asif and really looking forward to the film."
