After gaining praises as Simon Masrani in 'Jurassic world', Irrfan Khan is now looking forward for his shoot of an International mini series. He recently got back from his international trip after wrapping up the shoot of Inferno and is busy wrapping Jazba with Aishwarya Rai in india.
It is now confirmed that Irrfan Khan will start shooting for the Second World War TV miniseries,originated by NHK of Japan and collaboration with Canada's Don Carmody Television. It is based on a decade long investigation into events in the Pacific during and after WWII .
The television series will be cover the case that was witnessed during the end period of the 2nd world war
The mini series, will commence shoot in Europe and some parts of Japan over a month . The show will be directed by the famous Canadian director and screen writer Rob W. King and Dutch helmer Pieter Verhoeff.
Khan will be playing the role of an Indian judge and is supposedly going through heaps of research material to get all the facts and figures right while prepping for the role.
This international project seems to be another amazing journey for Irrfan Khan
The executive producer Takafumi Yuki said "Mr. Khan is a leading Star in the world and we are proud to have such a great Star on board. We are confident that this international co-production will deliver a great message to worldwide audience.
To confirm the news further we also contacted Irrfan to which he said "I am quite excited to explore this character and am looking forward to the shoot."
