Irrfan Khan grateful to Oscar winning 'Amy' director

We have been experiencing true friendships and bonding in our B-Town and people here share a bond of love wherever they go. Ace Actor Irrfan Khan a decade back started of his Hollywood journey with 'The Warrior' directed by director Asif Kapadia.

'The Warrior' was the first film for both Asif and Irrfan that opened roadways into international cinema. The film even worn several awards internationally. Now after these many years, the duo are still strong friends and Irrfan even had help the premiere of Asifs last film Amy in india.

Irrfan shares a great bond with the director and was extremely glad to see his film 'Amy' won the best documentary award at Oscars 2016. On the same he said, "I am extremely thrilled for Asif, He is an amazing filmmaker and I am happy that we had the opportunity to work together in past. His film 'The warrior' was a turning point of my life. Its overwhelming to know that finally he got the much deserving Oscars."
