The ace actor celebrates his 59th birthday today, making his way into cinema with Sattam En Kayil and then made his mark as a villain. He probably is one of the early people in Tamil Cinema to have crafted a bridge between playing the antagonist and the protagonist as well, his transition was remarkable.
Some of his roles are power packed and sheer excellence : Amaithipadai, Thai Mamman, Mamman Magal, and then quite recently he has started essaying character roles which thump with the presence to quote : Nanban, Thalaivaa, Raja Rani. He is famous for his dialogue delivery and the charisma is unmatched. ÂEnnama KannuÂ, a phrase that could bring down the floor and ÂYen Charactere purunchika matingiriye , all are golden words!
